The details: our platform allows experienced therapists to share their collective learnings through online materials, tools and frameworks developed over decades of therapy, with therapists everywhere.  By doing this, we hope to elevate the skills and resources available to all mental healthcare practitioners, and help our clients thrive.

We believe that good works should be rewarded, to incentivize further good works.  Not only will contributing materials to Therapist Marketplace help others within the therapeutic community, but it can also help to generate passive income for contributors.  Content that is uploaded, is curated, hosted and sold through this platform, and those earnings are shared with the contributor.  Therapist Marketplace takes care of the marketing, hosting, billing, administrative and other hassles, so that contributors need only focus on distilling their knowledge and creating their best work.

This is a marketplace for your original therapist created content. Once you register as a contributor, you can begin adding your content to your "store". You will be able to design your store and upload as many resources as you would like.

3. Uploading digital resources. (Please note that resources must be in PDF format and any images you add to promote your product, must be in JPEG or PNG format). 

Setting Up Your Store

As a Therapist Marketplace contributor you agree that the content is your original work. This work could include psychoeducational materials and handouts, worksheets, resources, guides, protocols, games, professional development resources, the practice of therapy documentation and administration or anything else your creative self can develop.

When you sign up and register as a contributor, you can create and design your own mini-store by uploading your profile image, logo, and describing who you are. Once completed, you can begin uploading your content. You can set your own prices, and sales when appropriate. You can edit, update, delete and modify your store listings whenever you want - you are in charge! 

Therapist Marketplace will facilitate processing your orders.

As a contributor, you will have access to dashboards, and other notifications you can access to easily track purchases of your materials. This dashboard is a useful tool to track which material sells the most, provides inputs for pricing amendments and understanding the income generated by you for posting the materials.

How You Get Paid

Therapist Marketplace pays out your sales earnings every Friday, at least 7 days after your product sells.

Since products are typically digital downloads, all purchases are non-refundable. However, in the event that your product could not be downloaded or your product does not match the description, the customer might be eligible for a refund (they have 5 days from the date of sale, to request a refund). A minimum of a 7 day lead time between the actual sale and your payout, should provide sufficient time for admin to review and make a determination on any refund requests.

Therapist Marketplace uses PayPal to process payments and your sales revenue will be deposited into your designated account.

Your contributor dashboard will help you keep track of your sales and your earnings. 

Taxes

You are responsible for paying taxes on your earnings through Therapist Marketplace. Please check your Contributor Dashboard to check your sales and earnings for your reporting purposes. 

Prices and Fees

You set the price of your materials based on how much you value them and the time you have put into creating them. 

Therapist Marketplace earns a 45% commission on each sale.

Additionally, each sale has a transaction rate (credit card processing fees) of 2.9% + 30c.
