About Us
After beginning work in the field (ahem, almost 20 years ago, ahem!), I quickly noticed that when I needed materials and resources I turned to my trusted colleagues. I've been blessed with very supportive colleagues over the years! However, when I couldn't find these resources, I had to try and create them myself.
Therapist Marketplace was borne out of noticing that collectively, therapists are resourceful and creative. We also seem naturally inclined to share our creations. The goal of Therapist Marketplace is to share in that generosity in an effort to spread all of our hard work, research and creations with one another. Not only will be able to save time and effort with a one-stop-shop for resources, but we will also be able to better serve and help our clients. It's an added bonus that it could develop into a passive income stream for contributors!
Therapist Marketplace has been created as a platform through which therapists can market and sell any materials that they have created to support other practice owners and clients. It is kind of like Etsy for therapists! Content could include:
- Office paperwork
- Therapeutic protocols
- Psychoeducational materials
- Worksheets
- Therapy games
- Any other therapeutic resources
Therapist Marketplace is intended to be a place to organize all of these resources that therapists have created. The website will allow therapists to upload any materials that they have already created, presented in an organized and categorized manner for easy access and searching.
Therapists searching for material or information will be able to access Therapist Marketplace and download or order these resources. In this way, Therapist Marketplace will facilitate therapists both supporting one another while also allowing therapists to develop passive income streams for themselves
