Community Guidelines
It is important to Therapist Marketplace that this site remains a safe, supportive, collaborative community for therapists, promoting excellence in therapeutic practice. With this intention in mind, community rules follow:
1. Community Guidelines
As a user of our site, you are required to follow our community guidelines. We may modify or add to these rules at our discretion. If you violate any of these rules, we may take action against your account, such as removing content you have posted, removing resources, suspending or terminating your account, issuing a refund to your buyers or any other action that we deem necessary.
Contributor rules:
- Only post resources that are your original work. It has to be your own. The Therapist Marketplace community is built on trust. Your resources must only contain material that you won the rights to (copyright, trademark, etc) or that you have the legal right to use commercially. When you upload a resource to our services you represent and warrant to us and buyers that you have the necessary rights to use all of the content you include in your resource, that neither Therapist Marketplace nor any member will have to obtain a license or pay royalties to any third parties, and that the intended use of your resources by Therapist Marketplace or a member will not infringe on anyone's rights (including copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, personality, publicity privacy rights). Therapist Marketplace will remove resources that are identified in a valid legal notice as infringing and accounts of those sellers will be closed.
- Make sure your resources is complete and accurate. Do not be misleading about what your resource is or includes. It is your responsibility to make sure the titles, descriptions and materials are truthful, accurate and free of mistakes.
- Make sure the content you are posting is respectful of all communities and is appropriate.
- Content may not (intentionally or unintentionally) trivialize traumatic experiences; be disrespectful, discriminatory or marginalize the experience, lives or beliefs of others.
- Privacy is important to us. Disclosures of personal information, specifically, Protected Health Information, or any client identifying information is prohibited.
- Resources may not contain pornographic and/or obscene language and imagery.
- Only list your resources once. Duplicate listings will be deleted.
- All digital resources should be accessible and downloadable directly from Therapist Marketplace. Files size is limited to 100MBS. If your file is larger than this, you may include a link to a third party hosting site, and buyers should be made aware of this. Buyers should not have to provide any further information to you in order to download or gain access to their purchased resources.
- Do not post resources that link to alternate selling sites.
- Set and honor your prices. We set a minimum price and you should not price any resources below this. You cannot require buyers to pay any additional fees to access your resource. You may not charge more on Therapist Marketplace for a resource that is offered for free or less somewhere else.
- Ensure that your resources are accessible and free from technical issues. Each resource you upload to our site must be complete in working condition. If your resources is hosted on another platform and relies on that service, it must be in good working order. You may not require the purchase of any additional software or equipment not listed as required in your resource description.
Providing Feedback:
- This is a collaborative community built on mutual respect and trust.
- Feedback must be specific, constructive, respectful, honest and supportive.
- Leave reviews after you have had a chance to use it.
- If you are having a technical problem, reach out to Therapist Marketplace, rather than the contributor/seller.,
- The old adage holds here: treat others as you would like to be treated.
