Emotional Regulation Zone and Self Monitoring Unit
Do you use "zones" to help clients with emotional regulation? Do you have clients who can label zones, but don't seem to transfer the concept to regulating their emotions? Great educators and mental health professionals know that when a student truly connects their own experiences to a concept it becomes a much more usable strategy!
This unit contains:
*Visuals for all 4 zones for clients to reflect on how their body looks and feels internally while in each zone
*Strategy pages for when clients need to change their energy level and zone for appropriate behavior
* A place to brainstorm physical supplies that may be needed for regulation
* 4 different types of self-monitoring and observation charts to help clients become more aware of their zones throughout the day AND to determine if they are ever in a zone that doesn't match expected behaviors
* Extra pages for notes throughout the learning process
*Extra pages to record triggers and patterns determined
Open-ended to match a wide variety of ages, grade levels and abilities
